Hello Baby.

(A video to listen to, while you read, enjoy)

Hello baby.  I want you to know before you read any further that I love you with all of my heart!  I also want you to know that I would and will lay down my life to protect you! I also want you to know that over the next several months as a marriage and other things transpire that you will be the victim of scrutiny.  Don’t you worry though I am going to do my job as a man to protect and shield you from any and all scrutiny.  Know with all of your heart that I will not listen to naysayers, I will not listen to critical people, I will not listen to people who do not have our best-interest at heart.  I will not listen, for a second, to anyone who says a negative word about you.  You know why, because no matter what anyone says it was not a mistake, by any stretch of the imagination that you are now in my life. You matter to me, you matter to the world, and you matter to God.  Furthermore to the people who speak bad words to or about you, they are the ones who do not matter.  I believe in fate and it was nothing but fate that put you here in my life.  I also want you to know that the people who are reading this and still think that I am talking about your mother, Josie, are now shocked.  Shocked mostly, I’m sure, because they didn’t expect you to come so soon.  Didn’t expect your mom and I had enough love to do this.  Well let me let you know that I love your Mom with all of my heart, all of my soul, all of all I got.  I also want you to know very early that your mom always always always will come first.  She came into my life before you and she always will come first.  Don’t confuse that however that I Love you more than anything on planet earth, second to your mom.  We found out officially that you were on your way, on Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 and we are so pumped up and excited for you to make you arrival in just around 8 months from now.  We don’t even know if you are a boy or a girl but what we do know is that you are beautiful, you are full of life, and there is a world out here that your Mom and I cannot wait for you to experience with us.  It will be a world we protect and shield you from but a world that will fully embrace you, we will make sure of that!  I also want you to know upfront that your life WAS NOT AND IS NOT a mistake.  In the Bible, it says you are a gift from the almighty God I cannot wait for you to learn about the amazing grace that God, Jesus Christ, has for each and every one of us.  He is forgiving and has forgiven your Mom and me a multitude of times.  I pray for your health and your salvation daily.  I pray right now that you will find your calling on earth and do well in the eyes of that God guy I am talking about.  Baby good luck to you and I’ll see you in about 8 months.  By the time you read this I am sure we’ll be flying around in cars or something neat like that.

Thank you to each and every one of you who read this.  Josie and I are amazingly excited for the pregnancy of our little one.  I expect to be judged by some but I won’t listen to anyone who decides to do so.  Either you’re with us or…Well that is the only option because there aren’t places in the life of our family that aren’t supportive of a gift from God.I am Coach.

Year in review…

When I sit and think how I can some up 2007 as concisely as possible it’s unusually easy.  Why?  Simply put- because 2007 was the greatest year of my life! You ask why again?  I had the honor and privilege of meeting someone this year.  This individual wasn’t a celebrity, this individual wasn’t a political figure, and this individual wasn’t a sports star.  Before I reveal who this “individual” is, let me tell you about them.  To this day, this “individual” continues to amaze me.  This “individual” amazes me with their brain, their presence, their beauty, their ability to make me smile, to make me laugh, to show me everything, no matter what, is going to be ok.  I met this “individual” in a manner in which only fate could explain.  Everything perfectly fit into place, aligned the right way, allowing our paths to cross, and since then I forever am a changed man.  I unapologetically am boastful and proud to have met this individual, my future wife, Josie Murphy.  This girl has absolutely, when I needed it the most, came into my life and showed me a whole new world.  A world filled with love, compassion, respect, and dedication!  You see many years ago I set out on a journey, through prayer, through searching, by any means necessary, to meet a girl, but not any girl, to meet “THE” girl I was put on earth to love.  Through that journey I learned patience.  I put my whole confidence and trust in the lord but that didn’t make it any easier.  I love Jesus and thank him everyday for bringing Josie and I together, but I have to admit I did get lost a time or two along the way.  I got hurt, went through a lot of Ms. Wrongs, but all I could do is wipe my brow and keep pushing through because I knew without a shadow of a doubt I was being led somewhere and that was directly to Josie!  This video explains it clearly.  Because just like when God led Moses and the Israelites through the red sea, God could have drawn a straight line from me to Josie but he chose not to.  He chose for me to go through what I had to go through, and he chose for Josie to go through what she had to go through, and when the time was right, at the snap of his fingers we were ready to be together.  God doesn’t always choose the easiest way to get to where he wants you.  Sometimes God wants us to go through different things to appreciate our arrival at our destination.  You see God, if you didn’t know, is a comedian.  He knew that the second Josie and I met we would be inseparable so he, somehow, even though our paths have crossed before, delayed that fate-meeting.  I am, without a doubt, the luckiest man in the world, but the even luckier aspect of it is that 2008 and beyond, day by day, will just continue to be better, because I am still, daily, falling in love with Josie.  It’s a wonderful…wonderful…wonderful…life.  I Love You Josie, day by day, more tomorrow than today, more today than yesterday!

185

“Wow” is the immediate feeling that comes over me when I think of the number 185.

185 represents, now, the number of days until I am married to the most amazing woman in the world, Josie Leigh Murphy.  I cannot begin to describe the ways she amazes me on a daily basis.  As I sit here today I know without any shadow of any doubt that I am the luckiest man in the world.  I say that because Josie honors me, loves me, respects me, and in 185 days she will transition from being the worlds best Fiance to the worlds best Wife.  We both are uber-excited about our future together, that already is unfolding.  Day by day, I fall more and more in love with her.  Day by day, I thank the Lord up above for allowing Josie and I to spend our lives together, I thank him for bringing Josie to me, and me to her, through the broken roads.

In 185 days I will be wed to the most beautiful girl walking the planet!

I LOVE YOU JOSIE! Forever…and…EVER!

I pray that everyone finds the happiness I now have! I am coach.
